Tourism and Archaeological Awareness for Students of Mansoura School of Hotel Affairs – "Faculty Museum Tour" (Thursday, 27 February 2025)
Under the auspices of Prof Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and under the leadership of Prof Doaa Samir Hizah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a museum tour workshop was organised for students of Mansoura School of Hotel Affairs and Tourism Services on Thursday, 27 February 2025.
Supervised by Assoc Prof Mona Ezz, Head of the Tourism Guidance Department, and Dr Karim Ahmed Abdel-Fattah, Supervisor of the Faculty Museum, and organised by Ms Rania El-Sayed, Head of the Community Service and Outreach Department, the initiative was part of the faculty’s community awareness plan, titled "A Generation Aware of Tourism, History, and Heritage".
A total of 12 students participated in the workshop, which was conducted by Ms Ghadeer Mahmoud Abdel-Baqy, Assistant Lecturer in the Tourism Guidance Department. The session focused on raising tourism, archaeological, and historical awareness, explaining selected artefacts, and exploring Egypt’s civilisation through different historical eras.
The event was held under the supervision of Ms Hanan Mostafa, School Director, Mr Mahmoud El-Saeed El-Hindawi, Social Specialist, and Ms Shaimaa Mazrouq, Psychological Specialist at the school.
