Under the auspices of Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty, the leadership of Prof Doaa Samir Hitah; Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and the supervision of Assoc. Prof Reham Mamdouh Abd El Maksoud; Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit and Chair of the Quality Culture Dissemination Committee and Dr Arwa Ahmed El-Barashy; Student Activities Coordinator and Supervisor of the Student Quality Team.
The Vice Deanship for Education and Student Affairs, in co-operation with the Quality Assurance Unit, organised a training course on Sunday, 22 February 2026, entitled (The Importance of Accreditation in Higher Education Institutions).
The course was delivered by Dr Arwa Ahmed El-Barashy; Lecturer in the Department of Tourism Studies. The training covered the significance of accreditation for higher education institutions, the differences between accredited and non-accredited institutions, and the active role of students in achieving accreditation. It also reviewed the College’s vision, mission, strategic objectives and core values, in addition to the role of the Student Quality Team in various contexts (the curriculum, accreditation standards, policy formulation, institutional accreditation, evaluation, student support and teaching and learning).
The course was attended by nine (9) members of the Student Quality Team.
