The Tourism Marketing Programme
The Tourism Marketing Programme is a specific programme presented in
(Arabic–English). It is a distinctive and specialised academic programme offered as a Bachelor’s degree based on the credit-hour system. It is considered the first of its kind amongst faculties of Tourism and Hotels in Egyptian universities. The programme is taught in English, which helps to better equip students for the requirements of both the local and international job markets.
It stands out for incorporating a range of modern courses taught for the first time in Egypt’s tourism education sector, and it also allows students to choose a second foreign language from French, German, Italian or Spanish. The programme requires a total of 128 credit hours for graduation.
Career opportunities for graduates are diverse, enabling them to work in marketing positions within tourism companies, airlines, and travel-related establishments, as well as in advertising, public relations, and promotional departments of various tourism organisations. Graduates can also pursue careers in marketing tourism services in diving centres, bazaars, and entertainment facilities, in addition to fields such as conference and event marketing and the promotion of tourist and archaeological attractions.
