Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty; the leadership of Prof. Doaa Samir Hizah; Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and the supervision of Ms Hala Kamel, Head of the Student Welfare Department, and Ms Basma Mohamed Shaheen, Supervisor of the Students for Egypt Family.
The Student Welfare Department, in co-operation with the Cultural Committee of the Faculty Students’ Union and the Students for Egypt Family, organised a seminar entitled 'How We Welcome Ramadan' on Sunday, 15 February 2026.
The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Ali El-Sayed Ali Atiya, preacher at Al-Azhar.
The seminar focused on raising awareness of how to welcome the holy month with enthusiasm and spiritual vitality. It concluded with a lively and wide ranging question and answer session from which all attendees benefited.
