(Role of the Student Quality Team in Promoting a Culture of Quality), on Tuesday, 17 February 2026
Under the auspices of Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty, the leadership of Prof. Doaa Samir Hizah; Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Reham Mamdouh Abd El Maksoud; Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit and Chair of the Quality Culture Dissemination Committee, and Dr Arwa Ahmed El-Barashy, Student Activities Coordinator and Supervisor of the Student Quality Team.
The Vice Deanship for Education and Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit, organised a training course on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, entitled (The Role of the Student Quality Team in Promoting a Culture of Quality).
The session was delivered by Ms Rowaida Mohamed Abu Khalaf, Teaching Assistant at the Tourism Studies Department, member of the Quality Management and Development Standard, and Assistant Student Activities Coordinator. The workshop introduced the Student Quality Team and its duties, highlighting its effective role as a link between the Quality Assurance Unit and the Faculty’s students. It also emphasised the importance of motivating students to participate in the various activities of the Quality Assurance Unit, gathering student feedback to achieve continuous development and improvement, and introduced key concepts of quality and accreditation, including the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) and Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs).
The workshop was attended by 64 students from the Student Quality Team and final-year students at Mansoura University.
