Visit to AlAmal Home for the Elderly on Tuesday, 24 February 2026
Under the auspices of ProfessorSherif Khater; President of the University, Professor Mohamed Atteya El-Bayoumy; Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the leadership of Professor Dr Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Professor Doaa Samir Hizah; Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and organised by Ms Hala Kamel; Head of the Student Welfare Department.
The Student Welfare Department, in co-operation with the Faculty Students’ Union, organised a visit to Al-Amal Home for the Elderly on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, as part of the Department’s social activity plan. The visit programme included:
A religious seminar on the spirituality and virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, delivered by Sheikh Rabie Ismail Sayed Ahmed; preacher at Al Azhar Al Sharif, and Sheikh Ali El Sayed Ali Atteya; preacher at Al-Azhar Al Sharif.
An artistic segment featuring religious chants, presented by Mr Mostafa Hassan; Supervisor of Artistic Activities at the Faculty.
Students distributed a number of simple gifts, bringing smiles to the faces of our beloved mothers and fathers.
It was not merely a visit, but moments of shared happiness. Students expressed their great delight with this experience, which strengthened their values of giving and compassion.

The visit was coordinated with Ms Saeeda Abdel Azim El Ashry; Director of Al-Amal Home for the Elderly, and Ms Magda El-Sayed El-Sayed; Social Worker at the Home.
The event was attended by Ms Asmaa Mamdouh, Social Activities Supervisor, Ms Doaa Magdy and Ms Marwa Mostafa.
