Field Trip of the Department of Tourist Guidance
On Tuesday, 15th April 2025, students from the Department of Tourist Guidance embarked on an academic field trip to Old Cairo to visit the Religious Complex. The trip aimed to enhance their professional skills and provide practical experience in tourist guiding.
The visit included the Religious Complex area, comprising several churches in the vicinity, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque. In addition, the students visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation in the city of Fustat.
The trip concluded with a free and recreational tour.
This academic visit was supervised by Ms Hanan Ali Gano, Assistant Lecturer of Tourism Guidance, Mr Ahmed Abdel-Wareth, Assistant Lecturer of Tourism Guidance, and Ms Omnia Abdullah, Assistant Lecturer of Tourism Guidance, with the presence of the Head of the Tourist Guidance Department. It was held under the auspices of Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and under the auspices of Prof Mohamed Zohry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The trip was organised by the Tourist Guidance Department, headed by Asst. Prof. Mona Ezz Ali, and with the supervision of the Youth Welfare Department, represented by Mr Mostafa Hassan.
