Tourism Awareness for Students of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Islamic School – Faculty Museum Tour, Tuesday, 24 December 2024

As part of the ongoing activities of the Presidential Initiative for Human Development, "A New Beginning for Building Humanity," and under the patronage of Professor Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, a special event was held. The event was led by Professor Doaa Samir Hizah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the supervision of Professor Mona Ezz, Head of the Tourism Guidance Department, Dr Karim Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Supervisor of the Faculty Museum, and organised by Ms Rania El-Sayed, Head of the Community Service and Outreach Department.
 
In collaboration with the Tourism Guidance Department and as part of the faculty's community awareness plan, the Community Service and Outreach Department launched the initiative "A Generation Aware of Tourism, History, and Heritage." A workshop titled "Museum Tour" was conducted for 14 students from Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Islamic School, spanning both primary and preparatory levels, on Tuesday, 24 December 2024.
 
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ms Khaloud Hosny Ghena from the Tourism Guidance Department, focusing on tourism, archaeological, and historical awareness. She explained various artefact models and highlighted Egypt's civilisation throughout the ages to students of diverse nationalities, including Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians, and Sudanese.
 
The activity was supervised by Ms Afaf El-Sayed El-Saeed, the school’s principal, and Ms Nahed Khalil, the social worker at Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Islamic School.
