Health Awareness Campaign for Students of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels
As part of the presidential initiative "Bidaya" (Beginning), the University's Education and Student Affairs sector launched a health awareness campaign focused on proper nutrition, eating disorders, and the "A Mouth Without Pain" initiative. This is part of the Bidaya My Health project aimed at raising awareness among university students. The campaign is held under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Zahry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
On Saturday, 30th November, a health awareness campaign was conducted for the faculty's students. It involved volunteer awareness teams from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Agriculture. The event was attended by Dr. Zahraa Matawa, Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, and supervised by Mrs. Hala El-Ezmazy, Head of Student Care at the Faculty, with coordination by Mr. Mahmoud Naim, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Hotel Studies, and Dr. El-Sayed Abu El-Saud, Supervisor at the Student Care Department.
The campaign was coordinated by Dr. Maha Abdel-Monem, Student Activities Coordinator at the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Zahraa Matawa, Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture. Supervision was provided by Dr. Mariam Wissa, Coordinator of the Bidaya Presidential Initiative within the University’s Education and Student Affairs sector.
