On Sunday, 1st December 2024, the faculty's team won the First-Year Students' Futsal League Championship in the university league, as part of the activities for the 2024/2025 academic year. The team triumphed over the Faculty of Nursing with a score of 6-1 in the final match, securing first place, the university league title, and the gold medal. This victory followed a 2-1 win against the Faculty of Pharmacy in the semi-finals.

The participation of the first-year football team was under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the supervision of Mrs. Hala Al-Azmazi, Head of the Student Welfare Department, and the execution of Dr. Said Abu El-Saud, Activity Supervisor in the Student Welfare Department.

In this regard, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof.Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, extend their heartfelt congratulations to the team members for winning the championship, marking the first time in the college’s history that it has won a first-place title in a university-wide competition.
