Interactive Student Meeting Titled "Discover Your Talent" at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, and the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zahri, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the organisation of Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali, Coordinator for Student Talent Discovery at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, an interactive student meeting titled "Discover Your Talent" was held on Monday, 25th November 2024. The aim of the event was to encourage students to discover and develop their talents, as well as to enhance their participation in various student activities.

The meeting began with a speech delivered by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry, Vice dean for Education and Students Affairs, who emphasised the importance of student activities in building a student's character and honing their skills alongside academic education. He praised the active role the faculty plays in providing the necessary support to its students in various creative fields. Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali, the Talent Discovery Coordinator, also gave an inspiring speech, highlighting the faculty’s role in supporting talented students and providing them with opportunities to excel.

Next, Mr. Mustafa Hassan, the faculty's Art Activity Supervisor, led a session that discussed the concept of art and talent, as well as methods for discovering and developing talents, with a focus on the importance of teamwork and active participation in artistic and cultural activities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, one of the talented students shared her experience with singing, detailing how she discovered and nurtured her talent. She presented an impressive artistic performance that captivated the audience, demonstrating the significance of such events in showcasing young talent.

The meeting also saw significant interaction from the students, who participated with questions and shared personal experiences, adding a vibrant and positive atmosphere to the event.

This meeting is part of the faculty's ongoing efforts to support creativity and excellence amongst its students, encouraging them to harness their energies in fields that lead to success and distinction.

Also present at the event was Mrs. Hala Al-Azmany, Head of the Student Welfare Department at the faculty.
