On Sunday; the 3rd of September 2023, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels received the internal review committee of the institutional accreditation. The committee was headed by Prof. Nesreen Mohamed Shalaby; Director of the Quality Assurance Centre, and the membership of Prof. Amir Mohamed Shalan; Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance and Peformance Evaluation for the Medical and Engineering Sector, Prof. Fatma Al-Zahraa Abdel Hamid Al-Gohary; Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance and Peformance Evaluation for the Humanities Sector, Asst. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Defrawy; Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science, and Dr. Amira Mohsen El-Sherbiny; Lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry. The committee was received by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Doaa Samir Hizah; Vice dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry; Vice dean for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Reham Mamdouh Abdel Makdoud; Director of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Alsaed; Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels. The committee started their first day by visiting the dean of the faculty, the faculty's vice deans, director of the QAU, Deputy director of the QAU, for discussing the faculty's mission and vision in relation to the vision of Egypt, 2030, identifying strengths of the faculty and  the progress that the faculty achieved. Afterwards, the committee transfered to review the documents, made a visit to the faculty's library, control rooms, the restaurant and other establishments of the faculty. The first day also included a meeting with the faculty's teaching staff. At the end of the day a meeting was held to discuss activities of the first day.
