A Tourism Tour in Sharkeya Governorate
On Saturday; the 24th of June, 2023, a tour was organised at Sharkeya Governorate within the activities of the initiative of "Know your Country: A Tour in the Egyptian Sites of Attraction". Under the auspices of Prof. Mamdouh Ghorab; Governor of Sharkeya, Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater; President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Elmeliguey; Vice president of Mansoura University for Community Services and Environmental Development, the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - Mansoura University, the supervision of Prof. Doaa Samir Hizah; Vice dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, Dr. Rasha Hassan Raafat; Director of the Local Tourism Authority at Sharkeya Governorate, and the presence of Asst. Prof. Ahmed Adel Hammad; Assistant Professor of Tourism Studies at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - Mansoura University, the sector of Community Services at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in co-operation with the Local Tourism Authority at Sharkeya Governorate organised a tour at Sharkrya Governorate for the faculty's affiliated members. This tour comes within the participation of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in marketing Sharkeya Governorate as a destination of environmental, rural, cultural, religious and festivals tourism. The tour included visits to the Horses Ranch, the exhibition of papyri products, Tell Basta and the Church of Virigin Mary and St. Youhana.
