PhD Viva at the Tourism Studies Department Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Mansoura University
A PhD viva was held at the Tourism Studies Department, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University, on Monday, 9 February 2026, for the Libyan researcher Imad Mokhtar Ali Al-Manoubi, entitled:
"Responsible Tourism and Its Role in the Development of Local Communities in the Libyan Desert: An Applied Study of the Akakus Region".
The supervisory committee consisted of:
Prof. Azza Mohamed Masoud, Professor of Tourism Studies and Dean of the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels (Sheraton);
Prof. Rania Mohamed Baha El-Din, Professor of Tourism Studies, Vice Dean of the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels – Badr City, and former Head of the Tourism Studies Department, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University;
