Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif; Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, the leadership of Asst.Prof. Mona Ezz Aly; Head of the Tourism Guidance Department, and the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Abdel Wareth; Assistant Lecturer of Tourism Guidance, students of the tourism guidance department participated in the scientific excavations at Tell Temay Al-mdeed. Students were trained on the excavation work and archaeological survey, where Mr. Hamdy Abdel Azim; General Director of Dakahleya Antiquities, as well as a group of archaeological inspectors gave theoratical lectures on the history and antiquities of Dakahleya, the foremost past excavations, in addition to training students on bases of documenting archaeological discoveries.
