A PhD Dissertation at the Department of Tourist Guidance was held on Monday, 15 October 2025, in the Discussion Hall at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University.

The dissertation was presented by the researcher Olfat Ali Abdel-Aziz Ali Abdel-Hay, under the title:
The Representation of Animals’ Struggle in the Wild and Aquatic Life in Ancient Egyptian Art till the End of the 30th Dynasty.

Supervised by:

Prof Gamal Abdel-Razek, Professor of Ancient Egyptian Language, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Alexandria University, and Former Dean of the Faculty.

Prof Rehab Mahmoud El-Sharnouby, Professor of Ancient Egyptian Archaeology, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University, and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

The viva was attended by staff members of the Tourist Guidance Department.

The dissertation was approved for the award of the PhD degree in Tourist Guidance, with a recommendation to publish the thesis at the university’s expense and exchange it with Egyptian and foreign universities.
