Under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University; the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Abdelazim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; the supervision of Mr Saad Abdel Wahab, Secretary-General of the University; and the organisation of the General Administration of Strategic Management, a workshop entitled "The Art of Crisis Management: Crisis Management Scenarios Workshops Towards an Effective Response" was held on Monday, 9 February.

The workshop was delivered by Ms Azza El-Khamisy, Director General of the Strategic Management Administration at the University. It was hosted at the Faculty of Law and inaugurated by Prof. Alaa El-Tamimy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development.

A team from the Faculty participated in the workshop under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, with the leadership and attendance of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the supervision of Ms Basma Shaheen, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management, Occupational Safety and Health Unit at the Faculty, with the participation of all unit members.

The workshop addressed the fundamental concepts of crises and disasters, their types, methods of dealing with them, and other topics relevant to the objectives of the workshop.
