The Postgraduate Studies Council of Mansoura University Hosted by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels
The Postgraduate Studies and Research Council meeting for the month of October was held on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University. The meeting was chaired by Prof Tarek Mostafa Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, in the presence of Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Dean of the Faculty, Prof Rehab Mahmoud El-Sharnouby, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, as well as the Vice Deans for Postgraduate Studies and Research from various faculties across the University and other Council members.
Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif extended a warm welcome to the Vice President, the Vice Deans of Postgraduate Studies from the University’s faculties, and the administrative staff of the Postgraduate Studies Sector. On this occasion, the Dean presented the Faculty’s Shield to Prof Ghalwash, Vice President of the University, in appreciation of his efforts and contributions towards enhancing and developing the postgraduate education process.
The Council discussed a number of significant topics related to the sector, all of which contribute directly to the advancement of the postgraduate and scientific research system, thereby promoting academic and research excellence within the University.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty expressed his gratitude to the Vice President for choosing the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels as the venue for this meeting, wishing for this event to be repeated in the near future. The Vice President, in turn, thanked the Dean and all members of the Faculty for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. He also expressed his admiration for the Faculty’s organisation, cleanliness, and overall appearance, stressing that it has recently become one of the most distinguished faculties of the University and one of the leading faculties of tourism and hotels in Egypt. He wished everyone continued success, progress and prosperity.
