Workshop on "The Role of Students in Implementing Quality Systems in Higher Education Institutions" – Wednesday, 27th November 2024
Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty, and the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Mona Ezz Ali, Head of the Department of Tourism Guidance, and the organisation of Dr. Reham Mamdouh Abdel-Maqsoud, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Ahmed Saleh Abu El-Nin, Student Activities Coordinator, the Quality Assurance Unit, in collaboration with the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, organised a workshop for students in the Department of Tourism Guidance on Wednesday, 27th November 2024. The workshop was titled "The Role of Students in Implementing Quality Systems in Higher Education Institutions" as part of the effort to promote a culture of quality amongst the faculty's students.
The workshop was led by Dr. Reham Mamdouh Mohamed Abdel-Maqsoud, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty, who covered the essential concepts and terminologies related to higher education quality, the concept and importance of accreditation, the role of students in implementing quality systems within the faculty, students' rights and duties, and how students can contribute to the college’s accreditation process.
At the end of the workshop, a discussion session was held, allowing for questions and answers from the students.
