A Museum Tour for Students of Al-Firdaws Preparatory School for Boys to the Faculty Museum – Thursday, 14th November 2024
As part of the ongoing initiatives under the Human Development Programme "A New Beginning for Building the Individual," launched by His Excellency the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University; Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; and Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty; along with the leadership of Prof.Doaa Samir Hizah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Mona Ezz, Head of the Tourism Guidance Department, and Dr. Karim Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Supervisor of the Faculty's Museum, in collaboration with Dr. Esraa Ahmed Abdel Meguid, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit, and organised by Ms. Rania El-Sayed, Head of the Community Service and Convoys Department
The Tourism Guidance Department and the Community Service and Convoys Department, in co-operation with the Alumni Follow-up Unit, organised a workshop titled “A Museum Tour” for 11 students from Al-Firdaws Preparatory School for Boys on Thursday, 14th November 2024.
The workshop falls within the framework of the faculty's community awareness plan under the initiative “A Generation Aware of Tourism, History, and Heritage” and the professional development programmes for graduates.
During the museum tour, Ms. Rowan El-Husseiny, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Programme in Tourism Guidance, Class of 2024, led the students as a tour guide. She introduced the museum’s artefacts and provided tourism awareness to the school’s visitors.
The tour was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Ashraf Radwan Hassan, School Headmaster; Ms. Doaa Salah, Social Specialist; and Mr. Ashraf Abdel Rahim Shatta, Social Specialist.
