Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Mansoura University Welcomes the Technical Support Team from the Centre for Excellence and Foresight
The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Mansoura University welcomed the technical support team from the Centre for Excellence and Foresight as part of the University’s commitment to promoting institutional excellence, effective management, and sustainable development. The visit, held under the patronage of Prof Sherif Khater, President of the University; Prof Mohamed Abd El-Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof Mohamed Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Dean of the Faculty; Assoc. Prof Bishoy El Kess Sedhom, Director of the Centre for Excellence and Foresight; and Dr Mohamed Ahmed El-Sayed, Coordinator of the Mansoura University Government Excellence Award at the Faculty, took place on 12 th and 13 October 2025 in the presence of Prof Doaa Samir Hizah, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr Reham Mamdouh Abdel-Maqsoud, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit. The visit focused on reviewing the Faculty’s institutional performance, development plans, and best practices, providing technical and advisory support to enhance academic and administrative efficiency, and improving service quality in line with governance and transparency principles. The programme covered key topics such as Egypt’s Vision 2030, smart government, innovation, human capital, resource management, and business continuity, followed by a field tour and a closing session. The Dean affirmed the Faculty’s continuous commitment to fostering a culture of creativity, quality, and innovation, strengthening its role in supporting the University’s excellence journey and contributing to the achievement of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for a prosperous and sustainable future.
